Order details for the DCX2496 Active Output mod kit.
This kit is now available from Pilgham Audio.
I'm happy to report that, like the Passive Output kit, Ward Maas from Pilgham Audio is now also offering this kit.
The kit price will be € 319 for the European Union. This will include VAT but not shipping. Since Ward doesn't have to charge VAT outside the EU, kit price for orders from non-EU countries is € 270, also without shipping.
Although Ward will handle all orders, I will remain responsible for technical issues and to help you if you get stuck.
This will be a Full Kit, down to the last screw and the jumper to program the remote commands. The only thing you need to complete this is a set of tools and a soldering iron (and a DCX2496, of course...).
All required documentation is on my site, and links are below. However, you will also receive printed documentation with the kit.
Ward will offer the kit through the DIY Support section on his website. You will find more details, an order form and shipping calculator. Please note: there is also an order form for the Passive Output kit, which was published by AudioXpress. That project actually has three different kits listed, and is on a different page. For this Active Output stage a single full kit is available. Make sure you order the correct kit.
Assembly. For those of you who would like Pilgham Audio to assemble the kit for you, or even do the complete mod for you, that is also possible.
Volume discount. If you wish to purchase several kits to install for others, there is a discount from the price given above.
