Note: I don't have those boards shown in the Elektor and AudioXpress articles, but you can order them through the Elektor website
The T-reg Stuffing Guides in the AX-article didn't come out very well so here are alternatives: Main board, 6080 board, EL84 board, DN2450 board. Note that these are for the motherboard / plug-in boards in the articles, and I do NOT have these for sale. They can be obtained through the 'PCB Shop' of the Elektor website. The boards I have are the stand-alone regulator-only boards shown below.
I've made a couple of other board designs that I have ordered for people and I either have a few left or I could order more. These are regulator boards only, no rectifier, no delay circuit. You feed it raw DC and heater, out comes tightly regulated low noise DC. But, be aware that your output current is limited by the dissipation: Iout*Voltage across the device. Example: Vraw in=400V, Vreg out=350V, Iout=200mA > dissipation is 10W. Check if your pass device can handle the dissipation!
Furthermore, the maximum INput voltage is also limited by the device you use. For instance, the max Vds of the DN2540 is 500V. In case of an output short (or at start-up with a largish cap on the Vout) the full Vin will be across the DN2540, and that is the limiting factor, NOT the Vin-Vout difference in normal operation as you would expect. You CAN use a DN2540 at larger Vout but then you must make sure that the Vds max will never be above 500V, for instance with a heavy duty zener from D to S like the 100V/5W zener in fig 6 in the original Elektor article (c) Elektor Electronics.
Here's a simple Construction
Guide.

I'm not in the pcb business, but will support diy efforts. I also have DN2540's and DN2470's for euro 2,50 each incl. shipping in Europe. The 6080 and EL84 boards will be euro 15 each, the smaller DN2470 board will be euro 12. Everything incl. shipping in Europe, US add 2.50 euro shipping. As of this date (6 May) I have 6080 boards, a few DN2470 boards, DN2540's as well as a few DN2470's available.
6080 board:
this one accepts tubes of the 6080 variety (6528, 6336 etc) OR one
DN2540 with heatsink. Board size about 3.8*2 inch (9.5*5cm). Up to 1A
with DN2540, 500mA with tubes (but watch your dissipation!). Vout max 500V. Good for power amps.
Schematic diagram &
stuff guide.
Heavy-duty DN2540 board takes up to 5 DN2540's, for direct mounting on a heatsink, see circuit and stuffing guide.
